Jimmy began his musical career while  a teenager. Formally trained at Housatonic Community College, Jim's love of music has taken his career down many diverse paths. His musical influences include Tommy Shannon, John Paul Jones, Stanley Clarke and Barry Oakley. While Jim has roots in both Stratford and Plainville, Connecticut, his soul belongs in New Orleans, where in the 1980's he acquired a love of jazz and the blues. When it comes to his music Jim always aims to please. So whether he's delivering rock & roll or rhythm and blues, his performance will take you to a hot and sultry place where you'll always come back for more.
